Joshua Dobstaff, MD

Joshua Dobstaff is a board-certified physician with more than 15 years of clinical experience spanning hospital medicine, internal medicine, and primary care. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from St. George's University and built his clinical career as a hospitalist, providing comprehensive inpatient care across multiple hospital systems in North Carolina. That front-line experience -- managing complex, high-acuity patients and navigating the gaps between hospital discharge and community follow-up -- shaped his conviction that the healthcare system needed a fundamentally different approach to chronic care.

Joshua co-founded IndyCare Health alongside Franklin Roye and Greg Vassie, bringing physician oversight directly into the independent pharmacy setting and creating the clinical infrastructure that allowed pharmacists to deliver reimbursable care programs compliantly and at scale. He also founded Progress Medical, a primary care practice focused on concierge-level and integrative medicine, and has served in clinical strategy roles focused on closing care gaps in underserved communities.

When IndyCare merged with Truentity Health in 2024, Joshua joined as Chief Medical Officer, leading the clinical oversight model that underpins every care program Truentity delivers. He is based in the Wilmington, North Carolina area.
